Experimental evaluation

What does it solve?

Evaluates the compliance of materials, components and systems with specifications, improving their final performance and guaranteeing their function throughout their service life by making efficient use of materials and energy.

Advantages and benefits

Application of experimental techniques that, beyond the validation itself, can also result in the redesign and substantial improvement of the product (e.g. life extension, optimization of design, operation and/or maintenance criteria, energy efficiency).

The ultimate goal is to develop more robust and reliable designs with better final performance, meeting all functional and environmental specifications:

  • Performance
  • Structural integrity, durability and fatigue
  • Structural Health Monitoring (SHM)
    • Noise and vibration
    • Electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility
    • Transportation Simulation
    • Characterization of materials: mechanical, chemical-physical and microstructural tests.
    • Climate aging
    • Biodegradability
    • Metrology

Execution of tests under national and international standards (UNE, EN, ISO, ASTM, etc.), according to customer specifications and/or development of specific test procedures.

Design, development, certification and commissioning of unique test benches for functional verification, quality or compliance with current regulations.
