General conditions of use of the portal

The Instituto Tecnológico de Aragón (hereinafter, ITA) informs you that access to and use of the website and all subdomains and directories included therein (hereinafter, jointly referred to as the Portal), as well as the services or contents that may be obtained through it, are subject to Spanish law and the terms detailed in this Legal Notice, notwithstanding that access to any of these services or contents may require the acceptance of additional special conditions.

The access and use of the contents of the Portal implies the acceptance of these legal terms.

Exclusion of liability

Both access to the Portal and the use that may be made of it are the sole responsibility of the user. ITA shall not be liable for any consequence, damage or harm that may arise from such access or use of information, with the exception of all those actions resulting from the application of the legal provisions to which it is subject in the strict exercise of its powers.

The Portal may provide links to external pages over which ITA has no control, and for which ITA declines all responsibility, and the Portal user must, in any case, abide by the specific conditions of use of such links.

ITA reserves the right to make changes to the Portal without prior notice, in order to update, correct, modify, add or delete the contents of the Portal or its design.

The contents available on these domains are for information purposes only, and in no case may any binding legal effect be derived from them.

Intellectual and industrial property. Reuse of information

All the contents of this Portal are owned by ITA or third party collaborators. The contents of this Portal include, but are not limited to: all texts, images, photographs, audiovisual and sound contents, design, source codes, logos, trademarks and other distinctive symbols.

Consequently, the rights to exploit the contents of this Portal beyond those strictly necessary for its correct visualization may not be understood as assigned to the user.

ITA’s own literary contents are published, unless otherwise indicated, under the terms of the Creative Commons-Recognition license (CC-by 4.0), and under Law 37/2007, of November 16, 2007, on the reuse of public sector information.

In the reuse of information is allowed:

  • Copy, distribute and publicly disclose.
  • Serve as a basis for derivative works as a result of its analysis or study.
  • Use for commercial or non-commercial purposes.
  • Modify, transform and adapt, making such changes public.

Likewise, the reuse of the texts contained in the Portal is subject to the following general conditions:

  • That the content of the information, including its metadata, is not altered.
  • That the meaning of the information is not distorted.

The above conditions do not apply to content owned by third parties published by the Portal, nor to all images, photographs, audiovisual and sound content, design, source codes, logos, trademarks and other distinctive symbols owned by ITA. The user agrees to make appropriate use of the contents of this Portal, being totally forbidden its illicit use, denigrating or contrary to good faith or that, in any way, could affect the image, reputation and / or integrity of ITA, or of the people to whom the contents refer.

The performance of any of the aforementioned acts that have not been expressly authorized by ITA constitutes an infringement of the intellectual and industrial property rights protected by law. In case of violation of these rights by the user, ITA will be entitled to exercise the legal actions that may correspond to it.

Applicable law and jurisdiction

The applicable law in case of dispute or conflict of interpretation of the terms that make up this Legal Notice, as well as any matter related to the services of this Portal, shall be Spanish law.

For the resolution of any conflict that may arise on the occasion of the visit to the Portal or the use of the services that may be offered therein, ITA and the User agree to submit to the Judges and Courts of the city of Zaragoza.
