PRESENTATION AND OBJECTIVES:

Digital technologies are widespread among large companies to optimize inventory management and logistics processes, with impressive results in reducing costs and the carbon footprint of operations. In the agri-food sector, due to its nature, the optimization of these processes is fundamental. However, SMEs are lagging far behind, not only in adopting technology, but also in changing their mindset. Digital technologies seem distant and inaccessible to many, and decision making in these areas is rarely data-driven.

The consortium wishes to explore how best to reach SMEs with these technologies, the impact of their adoption on SME competitiveness, and the feasibility of a pilot project with selected SMEs in our networks and in the sustainable IEMarket. To this end, the consortium will approach project preparation by carrying out activities related to both technological and user-focused elements.
