EUHubs4Data will establish a European federation of Big Data Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs), with the ambition to become a reference instrument for cross-border data-driven experimentation and innovation, as well as to support the growth of European SMEs and start-ups in a global data economy.
Based on the concept of “European catalog, local offer”, EUHubs4Data will establish a
European sustainable ecosystem based on local experience and achievements of European initiatives and national/regional Big Data IHLs, with the triple objective of:
(1) Create a European catalog of data sources and federated data-based services and solutions;
(2) Make this offer accessible at the regional level, so that European SMEs, start-ups and web entrepreneurs have access to the continent’s most valuable assets and expertise;
(3) Encourage data-driven, cross-border and cross-sectoral experimentation, being facilitated through data exchange and interoperability of services.
TOTAL PROJECT BUDGET: 12,486,662.50 €.
TOTAL BUDGET ITAINNOVA: 441,250€.
TOTAL PROJECT FINANCING: 11,999,031.25 €.
