COGNIMAN will provide the means to facilitate flexible, resilient, reconfigurable, safe, sustainable, and efficient smart manufacturing by integrating simulation, models, digital twins, sensors, Artificial Intelligence (Machine Learning), data processing and analytics, robotics, and autonomous systems in a human-centric modular toolbox that can be easily adapted to new manufacturing processes and environments with the ultimate objective of boosting the European technology and manufacturing sector’s competitiveness towards industrial leadership in global markets, as well as reducing the environmental footprint of manufacturing activities.
Demonstrators are focused on difficult-to-automate manufacturing processes like glass fibre production, large parts precision machining, medical additive manufacturing, and high-temperature metal production.
En el proyecto COGNIMAN se van a desarrollar los medios con los cuales conseguir una fabricación inteligente, que sea flexible, resiliente, reconfigurable, segura, eficiente y sostenible. Se realizará a través de la integración de herramientas de simulación, modelos, gemelos digitales, sensores, inteligencia artificial (machine learning), procesado y analítica de datos, robótica y sistemas autónomos en una caja de herramientas vitual con el ser humano en centro de la estrategia de desarrollo. Será fácilmente adaptable a nuevos procesos de fabricación, con el objetivo último de potenciar la competitividad en Europa de los sectores de fabricación y tecnología, y llevarlos hacia el liderazgo en los mercados globales, al mismo tiempo que se reduce la huella ambiental de las actividades de fabricación.
Los demostradores del proyecto, se enfocan a sectores de difícil automatización con las soluciones estándar actuales, desarrollándose aplicaciones en los sectores de fabricación de fibra de vidrio, fabricación por mecanizado de grandes piezas de precisión, fabricación aditiva metálica de ámbito médico y fabricación de metal a alta temperatura.
