Mechanical Testing, Structural Integrity and Fatigue Laboratory

The Mechanical Testing, Structural Integrity and Fatigue Laboratory is a reference in the physical characterization of materials and the study of the strength and durability of structures and components. We test components and systems on our test benches by applying complex controlled loads and monitoring them to evaluate functionality and durability under real operating conditions.
Experimental methods used for the evaluation and functional prediction of components, structures or systems are combined with virtual prototyping techniques in order to achieve more robust and reliable designs with better final performance from the point of view of structural integrity.
