The X-MINENERGY project is a project aimed at developing a system for the automatic filling of drill holes in open pit mines. The project focuses on supporting the operator from a double perspective: providing monitoring functions that help teleoperation; and giving the possibility to perform the maneuver autonomously. In both cases, the aim is to improve the process by monitoring and controlling its parameters, adding capabilities to the virtual mine ecosystem.
The specific objectives are:
Development of the in-vehicle monitoring system to support the user in the remote manipulation of the arm, as well as to perform the location and automatic mapping of boreholes.
-Development of the intelligent dosing system.
Robotization and automation of the arm from path planning to closed-loop control in both manual and automatic modes.
-Virtual simulation environment.
-Integration in digital twin Mining 4.0.
