The The objective of this project is the development of a set of solutions, based on the combined use of BigData technologies, Internet of Things (IoT) and Cloud Computing, which allow for the increased visibility and efficiency in logistics processes of the global supply chain of machinery and equipment manufacturers in the Spanish construction and public works.

Secondary objectives will include:

  • Definition and prioritization of the problems faced by the partners of this project, manufacturers of construction and public works machinery, in their global supply chains.
  • Improved knowledge in the application of BigData, IoT and Cloud Computing technologies for the creation of advanced logistics solutions for the supply chain of the manufacturers.
  • Development of concrete solutions and validation by means of pilots that demonstrate the effectiveness of the BigData, IoT and Cloud Computing technologies in the resolution of these problems, as well as their limitations and the risks involved.
  • Generate a network of collaboration between the manufacturers of machinery for the and public works that will allow the joint definition of challenges and the associated with their global supply chains, as well as the dissemination of results among the members of this network.

  • Management and coordination of project activities among all partners.
