Presentation and objectives:

The objective of this project is to choose a demonstrator part and, based on simulations of the injection process, using a standard commercial program such as Moldflow or Moldex3D, generate a tool based on simple mathematical models (ROM) that allows to know in advance and instantaneously the final characteristics of the part depending on the operating parameters of the plastic injection process. As the model can be executed almost instantaneously (it will be executed in seconds), its great usefulness will be to be able to easily and quickly know the optimal working conditions of the process, something that is currently unfeasible with the current means due to the long computational and time cost that would be involved in running the different simulations that would be necessary to find these optimal conditions.
