PRESENTATION AND OBJECTIVES:

The aim of the NUPROVEH project, carried out by VALEO and ITAINNOVA, is to continue advancing in sustainable and ecological mobility and to take a further step to develop products for electric vehicles powered by fuel cells and to make progress in the manufacturing processes of thermal systems to achieve efficient, competitive and reliable systems and processes.
General objective: To research and design the main products and processes necessary for the future industrialization of the main thermal components that will equip electric and hydrogen vehicles.
Specific objectives:
– Design and develop a heat exchanger for electric vehicle fuel cell (IPC) in stainless steel materials.
– Design the manufacturing processes of thermal systems for electric vehicles, to be located at the Zaragoza plant.
– Simulation analysis to validate the best layout of the heat pump manufacturing process and the creation of a Digital Conceptual Model of the manufacturing line (digital twin).
– Preliminary design to achieve the best possible assembly line configuration.

BUDGET:

TOTAL PROJECT BUDGET: 1,919,459 €.
TOTAL BUDGET ITAINNOVA: 240.000,00 €.

FINANCING:

TOTAL PROJECT GRANT: 636,810.65 €.
TOTAL FINANCING ITANNOVA: 84,000 €.
The NUPROVEH project, whose reference is IDMF/2021/012, has been funded by
Department of Economy, Planning and Employment of the Government of Aragon.
