04.- INFORMATION TECHNICAL INFORMATION ON THE PROJECT AND ITS OBJECTIVES

The project is part of the in accordance with the MINETUR’s Industria Conectada 4.0 (Connected Industry 4.0) initiative:

  • Line of action: Supporting the digital evolution of the industry
  • Strategic area: 6. Support for the adoption of I4.0 in industry.

8. Proyectos Industria 4.0

Specifically, the focus of the project is aligned with the Connected Industry 4.0 Conceptual Framework. defined by the Ministry of Industry.

This project uses technologies framed in Industry 4.0 in production processes for to address the following challenges: “to make them more efficient and flexible, either by by optimizing the existing ones or changing them, and manage series sizes and shorter turnaround times”.

The objective of the project is to design of a complex system of dynamic planning for the management of chaotic intermediate buffers in a sequenced just-in-time (JIT) process.

Specifically, the following actions will be taken in the following aspects:

  • Design of complex analytical models of dynamic planning for the management of chaotic product buffers (welded doors) and their subsequent sequenced supply by means of mobile robotics systems (Autonomous Guided Vehicles – AGVs) to lines of assembly.
  • Design of a dynamic management platform for fleets for intelligent task sequencing and prioritization communicated to the AGVs.

Both analytical models and the performance of the platform will be tested and evaluated by means of technologies based on discrete event simulation.

Finally, there will be a Industrial pilot to validate the performance of the model in an industrial environment. real.

Based on the results obtained the results obtained will be disseminated in different areas, publication of scientific-technological articles is one of the most important means of proposed.
