04.- INFORMATION TECHNICAL INFORMATION ON THE PROJECT AND ITS OBJECTIVES

The project is part of the in accordance with the MINETUR’s Industria Conectada 4.0 (Connected Industry 4.0) initiative:

  • Line of action: Supporting the digital evolution of the Industry
  • Strategic area: Support for the adoption of I4.0 in industry.
  • Industry 4.0 Projects

Specifically, the project approach is aligned with the Connected Industry 4.0 Conceptual Framework defined by the Ministry of Industry.

Figure 1: Conceptual framework of enablers for digitalization (MINETUR)

The this study is related to Industry 4.0 can be framed within the following three thematic areas as BIM is a collaborative work methodology –[Applications for intra-company/inter-company management], for the management of information for building or civil works projects. –Communications and data processing in the value chain] and to through a digital mock-up – [Hybridization of the physical and digital world].

The BIM methodology is bringing about a real technological revolution for the production chain and management of building and infrastructure. This tool allows to build in a more efficient way, reducing costs by reducing the and other stakeholders involved in the design, construction and operation of the working collaboratively.

Tailor-made construction machinery to acquire new digital capabilities and the BIM becomes mainstream for construction management, implications and opportunities will arise that machine builders and machine manufacturers will have to start taking into account.

The The objective of this study is the definition of a portfolio of projects of experimental development and technological innovation related to the BIM implementation for machinery used in construction works.

The The main expected outcome of the study will be an analytical report on the impact of the study. of BIM implementation in construction machinery manufacturers that have will include, among other contents, a roadmap of technological innovation projects. in construction machinery.

This The action corresponds to the completion of a technical feasibility study.
