ELECTRICAL LABORATORY

ELECTRICAL TESTING SERVICES

ITA’s electrical laboratory provides advice and tests on compliance with the directives and standards that products must meet in order to be sold or put into service in the European Union. Applicable to Electrical Products, Machinery, Elevators, Radio Equipment, Electro-medical Equipment, Automotive Components…

  • Technical advice for CE marking

To place equipment or products on the market or put into service in the European UnionThe product must comply with the essential requirements detailed in the European Directives that apply to it, being assessed according to the relevant conformity procedures, and must bear the CE conformity marking. The manufacturer (importer or agent in the EU) assumes sole and absolute responsibility for the conformity of its product with the Directives that apply to it.

    • To know the technical regulations and standards that affect your product,
    • Carry out the tests according to the previous point.
    • To prepare the technical dossier.
    • Follow the conformity assessment procedure applicable to it.
    • To make the declaration of conformity.
    • Place the CE marking on the product.
  • Electromagnetic compatibility tests

For Electromagnetic Compatibility testing , Directive 2014/30/EU applies, whereby the manufacturer assumes responsibility for its equipment, electrical and/or electronic product.

To ensure the safety of electrical equipment the manufacturer must comply with the essential requirements of the Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive 2014/30/EU:

    • Satisfactory performance in its electromagnetic environment
    • Emission of electromagnetic disturbances limited to a level that allows other equipment in the same environment to function as intended.
    • Level of immunity against electromagnetic disturbances produced by equipment in the same environment operating for its intended purpose
