The project aims to promote the transfer of knowledge and the valorization of results, promoting the maturation and exploitation of the technological assets generated at the Instituto Tecnológico de Aragón. Its purpose is to transform R&D results into solutions applicable to the market, favoring the creation of economic and social value through new business models, licensing, the creation of technology-based companies (eBTs) and the provision of innovation services at high levels of technological maturity (TRLs).
Within the framework of this project, a model for the transfer of results will be developed, based on methodologies and tools to identify, select and mature research results with exploitation potential. In this way, the aim is to accelerate the transition from R&D&I to the market and strengthen the competitiveness of the innovation ecosystem, ensuring that the results of the knowledge generated are converted into products, services or technological solutions with a tangible impact on industry and society.
ITA, as a beneficiary of the grant, will play a key role in technology valorization and knowledge transfer, leading the implementation of this model within its own ecosystem. From its Knowledge Transfer Office (OTC-ITA), ITA will apply its experience in intellectual property management, commercialization of results and development of collaborative innovation projects, in search of a more competitive regional innovation system.
