Moreover, with the continuous advancement of technologies, it is crucial that this quality assurance occurs early, from the earliest stages of the systems&#8217; life cycle, and as systematically as possible. The Robotics, Mechatronics and MBSE (ROMEM) group of the Instituto Tecnol\u00f3gico de Arag\u00f3n aims to incorporate the Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) paradigm in the development of advanced robotic and mechatronic systems and the integration of advanced and intelligent control\/perception\/decision techniques to guarantee their robustness throughout the life cycle of the systems. To this end, the ROMEM group brings together these three core technologies (robotics, mechatronics and MBSE) to leverage their strengths and explore their complementarities in achieving more ambitious goals and more innovative solutions in current technological environments such as robotics and mechatronics.
