DIGITAIL. Sustainable and digital transformation through AI of all intralogistics processes in supply chains with low digitization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PRESENTATION AND OBJECTIVES:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The current social uncertainty and competition between companies requires the digital evolution of supply chains to increase efficiency and optimize processes. The digitization of small and medium-sized enterprises is a costly challenge, a problem that is the subject of this project.Developing good planning and management systems for procurement and distribution, based on ML and AI technologies and adapted to the particularities of the companies, will optimize operations and decision making, increasing visibility over the supply chain to ensure an efficient and sustainable service with the least possible use of resources.The project is innovative in the hardware sector, a sector with poorly digitized supply chains, being replicable for other sectors highlighting the retail market and especially the rural environment, in order to accelerate and balance the digitization of different sectors.The overall objective of the project is to accelerate the digital transformation and green transition of supply chains through planned research of new innovative techniques in the area of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. This solution, which includes AI and ML applied to intralogistics processes through demand forecasting systems, merchandise traceability, route management and goods distribution, will enable the optimization of supply chain processes with low digitization.The technical objectives of the project are as follows:– Objective I: Increase storage capacity and improve warehouse flows,identifying the most efficient layout within the current facility to perform the overall warehouse operations, including, if necessary, warehouse solutions, includingautomation.– Objective II: Determine the economic cost associated with the expansion of the warehouse, atThe incorporation of all the necessary handling and infrastructure elements that may be required.– Objective III: Economic valuation of different scenarios.o Centralization of stock in one delegation and night supply to another delegationdelegationo Type of operations in other delegations: Cross docking, tense flow or stock.advanced– Objective IV: Assessment of service KPI improvement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
