PRESENTATION AND OBJECTIVES:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

SAFE PIT is a project oriented to the development of a geotechnical digital twin based on SAR technology through the development and deployment of a collaborative multi-scale and multi-frequency system. The construction and updating of the digital twin will be used to perform open pit mine risk prediction and analysis. The system will be fed from three sources of information: satellite, DroneSAR and GbSAR towed by a mobile robotic platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main objectives of the project are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • Development of a multiscale calculation model for the assessment of slope instability risk in open pit mines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Design of an autonomous and multiscale monitoring system for early identification of slope instability risk.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Design and development of a ground platform capable of autonomously navigating through the mine allowing the positioning of the GbSAR station.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Design and development of a wireless charging system to recharge the DroneSAR and attach to the autonomous ground platform.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Development of a methodology for the automatic generation of reduced order models.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Design and development of a communications and storage system to convert numerical models into a Digital Twin.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
