{"id":26014,"date":"2019-03-25T10:55:51","date_gmt":"2019-03-25T09:55:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ita.es\/proyecto\/ecosaica\/"},"modified":"2025-03-21T14:01:09","modified_gmt":"2025-03-21T13:01:09","slug":"ecosaica","status":"publish","type":"proyecto","link":"https:\/\/www.ita.es\/en\/project\/ecosaica\/","title":{"rendered":"ECOSAICA"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-style-columns-margen is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-1 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\n          <strong>01.- NAME OF THE PROJECT<\/strong>\n        <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>E-commerce in corrugated cardboard with impact and drop safety: ECOSAICA  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\n          <strong>02.- SUMMARY<\/strong>\n        <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>E-commerce is growing at an unstoppable pace worldwide.\nThe selection of the right packaging, in addition to the need to ensure the\nmaximum protection of the products marketed through online stores\n, is a basic element for the success of the business, in addition to the\nimportance it has in preventing breakage and the resulting problems,\nboth economic and image of the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Within this framework, the project aims to design new packaging made of 100% recycled corrugated\ncardboard, adapted to\ne-commerce and mainly aimed at\nfragile products, since the main risk of this distribution environment\nis related to impacts and falls in the automatic,\nsemi-automatic and manual handling of packages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Likewise, the second objective of the project is to develop a numerical and experimental tool capable of offering end consumers the set of\nfunctionalities and characteristics required for each product to be contained,\nallowing the optimization and customization of the packaging in terms of its\nprotection against impacts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\n          <strong>03.- GENERAL DATA<\/strong>\n        <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Description: <strong>CHALLENGES-COLABORATION 2017 <\/strong> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proposal Number: RTC-2017-6560-5<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Date awarded: 09\/18\/2018<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Date of execution: 01\/09\/2018 TO 31\/08\/2021<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\n          <strong>04.- INFORMATION\nTECHNICAL INFORMATION ON THE PROJECT AND ITS OBJECTIVES<\/strong>\n        <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Promote technological development, innovation and quality research.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project has two distinct objectives:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The design of new packaging designs in corrugated cardboard\nspecially adapted to e-commerce for fragile products, and therefore\nensuring adequate protection against impact but ensuring\nat the same time that adequate designs are achieved to the other requirements that the\ne-commerce channel imposes on the packaging (in addition to the logical protection of the\npackaged product):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Simplicity of use in the logistic chain\n(including from the moment of packaging to the opening by the customer\nfinal)\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Reduced weight<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recyclability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Corrugated cardboard is a great option for its light weight and recyclability,\n. \nTherefore, the project aims at the development of conditioners and\nfinal packaging geometries, always in corrugated cardboard, that avoid the\nuse of other conditioning elements that present clear\nlimitations in terms of recyclability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For this first objective of the project,\nis working on concrete designs, with the intention that they reach the market and can\nbe presented at specialized packaging fairs.
