PRESENTATION AND OBJECTIVES:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The approach of this project is due to the fact that the automotive sector is currently facing a disruptive change due to the electrification process in which we are immersed. The irruption of hybrid transmissions, electric axles or wheel motors, among others, is affecting all the subsystems that make up vehicles, so the requirements and technologies involved in most of them are being influenced.Among these new requirements, which greatly impact bearings, is noise reduction. Therefore, the objective of the project is focused on research into new designs, simulation tools and manufacturing technologies for efficient and silent bearings, which will meet the new requirements in terms of NVH (Noise, vibrations and harshness) of new vehicles for sustainable mobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
