\n 04 Technical information on the project and objectives:<\/strong>\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main objective of the\nproject is the search for alternatives that will allow the\nrecycled papers to achieve levels of flexibility, extensibility, TEA and\nbursting similar to those of non-recycled fiber kraft papers,\nwhile maintaining the strength properties that characterize the current\nSaica liner papers, mainly in terms of compression.\nThis would allow them to compete, especially for high board weights, with the current\nkraft liner papers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A second objective would be\nfocused on the use of the results obtained to manufacture a paper\nsuitable for paper bags.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This aspect is important since\nit is foreseeable that the current regulations concerning plastic bags will change\nin the coming years, and it is expected that in 2020 the sale of\nlight and fragmentable plastic bags will be prohibited, with the exception of those produced\nwith compostable material.The project will study and investigate 4 complementary lines of action\nand that according to the reviewed bibliography and the\nknowledge of the participants present a high technological novelty\nmainly due to the use of recovered cellulose as raw material.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In parallel to these lines of\nwork, a study will be carried out on the basis of the performance of these\nmodifications in the fibers and their relationship with the basic structure of the paper\nrecycled, so that the knowledge acquired will allow the optimization\nof the treatments carried out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
