    This project is the result of\nthe cooperation between the AEI ASOCIACI\u00d3N AERON\u00c1UTICA ARAGONESA, hereinafter AERA,\nthe entity COMPOSITES ARAG\u00d3N, S.L. (hereinafter, CA) and the entity Instituto\nTecnol\u00f3gico de Arag\u00f3n (hereinafter ITAINNOVA), has the following general objectives\nto acquire the necessary knowledge to develop a collaborative robot\nfor automated polishing of metal parts, including Composites Arag\u00f3n in\nthe new paradigm of industry 4.0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    It is part of the line\nof Development of Innovative Activities in cooperation for activities of\nexperimental development. Although the introduction of collaborative robots has\nIn the last few years, the industry as a whole has been rapid in the last few years.\ndeveloped and validated any that are capable of achieving the\ntechnical requirements involved in the polishing of metal parts with the\nquality requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This project is\nwithin the framework of the thematic priorities defined in the\nConnected Industry 4.0, specifically in line 3 MANUFACTURING PROCESSES c.\nADVANCED ROBOTICS<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    As a result of the project\nwill develop and implement a collaborative robot with polishing application\nin the aeronautical sector. The project will seek to gather information\nnecessary for a robot adapted for this purpose, to be able to perform the\npolishing activity that traditionally had to be a manual job. At the same time\ntime it will contribute to the digital transformation of a process that was previously\nmanual. For this purpose, both the hardware and the driver software will have to be adapted.\nof the robot to the task at hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Developments to be carried out\nare aligned with the Strategic Plan of the AEI and with the objectives of the AEI.\nand trends in the industry, both national and international, as well as in the\nas well as at the European level, with a boost to industrial digitalization,\nfocusing the impact on SMEs (Connected Industry 4.0 Strategy).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Based on the objectives that\nthe project, various aspects will be strengthened that will have a significant impact on\ndirect impact on improving the competitiveness of the cluster companies,\nspecifically to SMEs, which will enable them to improve their competitiveness thanks to\na reduction in manufacturing times, as well as cost reductions in\nand better training of staff for their adaptation to the new technologies.\nnew technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    But the impact of the project has its greatest repercussion on the customers as it will allow their competitive improvement thanks to the increase in the quality of the parts delivered, due to the reduction in the occurrence of dimensional errors, not obtaining precise tolerances, etc. It will also indirectly improve customer-supplier communication by eliminating customer nonconformities, thus making the flow of information more dynamic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
