Based on the study and analysis of these \ntechnologies, use cases will be evaluated and their feasibility will be analyzed with \nin order to define possible implementation projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-objetivos-del-proyecto\">Project objectives<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\n          <strong>Technical information on the project and its objectives:<\/strong>\n        <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In\n this project will study the possibilities that the new \ntechnologies offer for the improvement in the processes that can be carried out\n from several points of view through the capture and exploitation of \ninformation in the production systems. Currently, there are \ndifferent technologies of Industrial Internet (IIoT), Data Analytics and \nBigData that allow the generation of knowledge in the field \nindustrial and represent a new revolution in tools to help the \ndecision making. From the point of view of the use of \ntechnologies in the new Industry 4.0, the project focuses on the \ncapture,<br\/> storage and exploitation of information.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to achieve this objective, the following specific objectives are proposed:  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Classification\n and assessment of the various sensor technologies and electronic \nsystems in relation to the physical variables to be measured (location \nindoors of mobile systems, pressure, temperature, humidity, \npower consumption, speed, vibration, flow, etc.). At this point,\n will integrate the analysis of sensor systems with the capacity of \nprocessed in-situ, which is known as Edge Analytics.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analysis\n of different production processes (plastic injection, metal forming \n, machining, welding, etc) to identify relevant control parameters \nand matching with the sensor technologies \npreviously identified.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analysis of different protocols of \nIIoT communications (MQTT, COAP, ) for communication of information from \nmachines and industrial processes with corporate systems and\/or the \ncloud.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analysis and evaluation of available information, both from \nown equipment and external sensors, for the study of \nBig Data Analytics technologies that can be applied in its \nexploitation for the extraction of knowledge.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Description of \nuse cases and application possibilities of these technologies in the \nintelligent management of production and\/or maintenance, taking into account \ncriteria of efficiency, productivity, flexibility, cost savings, \nquality improvements, operator safety, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Generation \nof a portfolio of possible projects for the implementation of solutions for \nproduction and\/or maintenance based on these technologies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-el-proyecto-incluye-los-siguientes-cinco-paquetes-de-trabajo\">The project includes the following five work packages:<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Technology watch of sensor technologies and industrial communications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analysis of production processes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Characterization of technologies for information management and knowledge extraction.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use cases.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dissemination of results and generation of project portfolios<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p> <strong>Participating entities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>CAAR (Coordinator)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ITAINNOVA<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-convocatoria-a-la-que-pertenece-el-proyecto\">\n          <strong>Call to which the project belongs<\/strong>\n        <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-agrupaciones-empresariales-innovadoras\">Innovative Business Clusters<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>This\n project has received a grant under the \nprogram to support Innovative Business Groups (AEIs).
