An Aragonese meat industry has been chosen as\n software development field. The meat industry is the main agribusiness subsector \nby sales volume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Until now, \nindustry has prioritized the optimization of other resources of \nhigher cost than water by making technological investments in other \nareas, such as energy, transportation, production processes, etc. \nHowever, the <strong>management <\/strong>of the water cycle for industrial use in terms of <strong>quality control<\/strong>, <strong>regulatory compliance<\/strong>, the <strong>cost of water at the point of use<\/strong> and <strong>environmental responsibility<\/strong> is a matter of concern for industry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>DIGICAT aims to develop an <strong>artificial intelligence software applied<\/strong>to the <strong>agri-food<\/strong> industry to improve <strong>the integrated management<\/strong> of the <strong>water<\/strong> cycle. Endowed\n with Artificial Intelligence (Big Data Analytics and Predictive Capability),\n DIGICAT will help companies in the agri-food sector to make \ndecisions for the optimization of water flows in near-real time \nand predictive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To this end, DIGICAT has the following partners:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>ZINNAE (Coordinator)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>COGNIT (Technical Coordinator)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>FRIBIN<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CONTAZARA<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ITAINNOVA<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-agrupaciones-empresariales-innovadoras\">Innovative Business Clusters<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>This\n project has received a grant under the \nprogram to support Innovative Business Groups (AEIs). This \nprogram to support the strengthening of innovation clusters is \ninserted in the European strategy to improve competitiveness for the \ninnovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\nThe clusters that can benefit from the program&#8217;s\n grants are those entities whose innovative potential and critical mass \nhave been recognized by the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness (MINECO) through their registration\n in the Register of Innovative Business Clusters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ZINNAE has been part of the Registry of Innovative Business Groups since 2010.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-objetivos-del-proyecto\">Project objectives<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>This project is<strong> phase 1<\/strong> for\n the development of an artificial intelligence software for the management of \nwater (DIGICAT), in order to help the manufacturing industry \nagri-food to manage their water flows. The software will be \nable to establish patterns and therefore be able to predict \nbehaviors according to the productions, being able to anticipate at \nall times to possible deviations of the requirements and thus \nkeep the water consumptions optimized at all times. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Specific objectives for Phase 1 include the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Identify the needs of a replicable agri-food production process, Fribin meat industry.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Visualize the characterization of relevant water streams by applying Business Intelligence.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Data analysis for decision making in stream optimization with the objective of minimizing consumption and discharge<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Establish patterns of water flow behavior and productivity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify indicators for prediction and anticipation of needs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pre-development of software prediction algorithms<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform the Value Added Analysis of the software<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct Market Proximity and Continuity Analysis of the project<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-paquetes-de-trabajo\">Work Packages<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>The\n project is coordinated by ZINNAE with technical support from COGNIT.
