      Presentation and objectives of the experiment<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

      The\n the objective of this experiment is to open up a commercial opportunity \nElvesys, a French engineering and manufacturing SME, is a relevant company for Elvesys.\n Plug and Play <\/em>control systems for research \nmicrofluidics. The objective is to install in the cloud a library of \nsimulation models of microfluidic devices that can be used to simulate \neasily interconnect to virtually test the configuration of the \nmicrofluidic system before physically constructing it. This will allow \nElvesys and its customers to examine the system’s hardware \nmicrofluidic before building or buying it, select parts \nto the specific objectives and to develop better \nflow control algorithms. The development of this system requires \nthe use of HPC resources for launching and solving simulations \nmultiphysics that reproduce the behavior of the components of the \nsystem, as well as to analyze the data resulting from such \nsimulations. The latter will allow the derivation of reduced order models.\n (ROM) of these components. These ROMs can then be interconnected \nto build virtual circuits and run virtual tests for all \nthe integrated microfluidic chain, linking different physical domains\n and control algorithms in the simulation of the complete system. The cloud \nFortissimo will be used to host the graphical user interface that \nwill guide the latter throughout the entire process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
