Presentation and objectives<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

ComposeTour intends to develop a framework of tools based on\n the composition of web services for the creation of tourism enterprises\n with a high capacity to adapt to new and changing \nmarket needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tourism sector has emerged as one of the most important \nindustries where rapid responsiveness and adaptability to changing \nnew market demands, such as those imposed by the tourism \nindividual, is a basic issue in order to maintain the \ncompetitiveness in the sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this ever-changing environment, it is imperative that the \nthe destination’s main tourism stakeholders to join forces in order to be able to \nto offer new products and diversify its offerings in new markets. \nWeb service composition technologies are an important \ninteresting component to help develop this vision. These \ntechnologies appear to have matured sufficiently in the marketplace to \nto be able to make a specific approach to the case of tourism in the framework of the \nproject.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The objective of the ComposeTour project is the improvement of the creation of \nvirtual tourism companies that are adaptable to the new needs of the \nmarket based on the composition of the services offered by \nsuppliers or agents at destination.
