Beyond the\ntechnological issue, Construction 4.0 is based on a novel premise where the works\nare seen as productive factories in which products are &#8220;manufactured&#8221;\n(buildings, roads, tunnels&#8230;) through productive means (machinery) and\nby means of organized methods (projects). This manufacturing vision brings us closer to the\nindustrialization of construction, and with it, to being able to incorporate\ntechnologies that are already leading relevant innovations in other industries of\nmore productive conception, such as the automobile industry. In short, construction\n4.0 is to conceptualize construction as a manufacturing industry, and to assimilate\nfor the sector the precepts of Industry 4.0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From a technological perspective, one of the revolutions will come with the automation of construction processes through the robotization of construction machinery. Among the whole spectrum of machines that coexist on a construction site, mobile machinery is one of the groups most susceptible to being robotized, at least in its function of moving around the construction environment.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\n\nAs an example, Table 1 shows three of the main construction processes and their respective mobile machines that can be robotized in such a way that they are autonomous in their translation and integrate the automation of some of their functions, for example, the gunite spraying as a robotized boom.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ita.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/AUTOMAQ-_ESQUEMA.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2563\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Figure 1 &#8211;
